Description
I got this piece as a tip for doing some home improvements.
I was offered $700 but did not have an appraisal yet.
I took it to a local appraiser and he said he would sell it for a $1000 and give me $700
Im looking for another appraisal, second opinion.
There is no damage to this piece and is in excellent shape.
Re: Chinese pottery
I'd take the money and run, the mark reads "Great Qing Qianlong Period Made" but it's highly unlikely this thing is more than 40 years old. The mark is a 20th century seal mark, applied with a rubber stamp.
