Oak or Mahogany Dining Table

Description

This table has been passed down for at least 4 generations. It has also been lent and moved many times, hence the used condition (chips, burnt spots, small broken parts). It has been painted and varnished. We plan on having it refurbished and I expect it will cost a lot...

Tables like this generally predate World War One and tend to be a mix of styles. Examples finished in mahogany or walnut shades tend not to be oak, most are mixed light color hardwoods such as maple or birch with a aniline dye stain. In fully refinished condition these can sell for well over a grand, but is " AS Is" condition many sell for less than $400.00.

Lovejoy
