Re: crystal vase and candy dish

Very lovely, I was thinking that perhaps it is IS? International Silver? Here's a little about them:

<a href="http://antiques.about.com/gi/dynamic/offsite.htm?zi=1/XJ/Ya&sdn=ant… have somewhere a better company label guide-thru the years as mergers/changes occurred, or maybe I found that link thru this source or their company website. Once you are sure it could be them, I would keep checking their links. I gave IS silver plate antique items to my sisters for their 25'ths, and a piece did also have decorative glass. I hate to get it just to keep 4ever for myself because of the upkeep. You can also check replacements.com as many Rogers/IS items are listed on the site.

Is the glass also marked? There are many popular fine glass factories in the Ohio and Illinois area where IS is mainly located in the beginning.

I collected vases for years, but IS is not familiar to me, I will review some of my other resources on them. (Note, I am a nobody official, just a junk sale junkie).

Hope to be of some assistance!

I meant IH at that last paragraph, but edit seems to erase the whole post and you have to start over...
