For one thing it isn't all that old, figurines of this type are "ready made collectibles" which were really popular in the 1980's. I've seen this one go at auction for about $200.00

I've no idea what the first name is, but it doesn't matter much these pieces are mass produced, they are not individual pieces of art. As I said before these things came out in the 1980's and were still being made into the 1990's as I recall.

i also have one, how much are they worth. my artist name on the front says merli and is stamped with king on the back . also mine sits on a porcelin base built in to a wooden base
