Re: Rudy Montoya Artist Proof 2 Pen and Ink Work "Spirit ...

I knew Rudy in El Paso. He would frequent the restaurant I used to manage.I have never seen "Spirit Raven" anywhere but in the "Original" pen & ink I have had the pleasure to gaze upon every day in my dining room. The one I have has no color and is signed by Rudy Montoya. He personally gave it to me one day when he came into the restaurant. He said he had something for me and went to his car and gave me this all rolled up. Of course we have since had it framed.I was unaware there were anymore out there.

Re: Rudy Montoya Artist Proof 2 Pen and Ink Work "Spirit ...

Rudy's values are as low as $300 to as high as $7000 from what I have been able to find out. Large run prints (~2000) are at the low end, Then low runs, followed by prints with the signature suffix of IMP (meaning:I am the printer - saying that he did the prints himself) then into the originals. I did not find an artist proof price, but you might want to contact the following person: [email protected] who manages Rudy's web site and could possibly give you more information.
