By susieglow, 10 September, 2008
Description

This is the actual mark on the bottom of the tea pot: http://www.shopgoodwill.com/imageviewer.asp?imgsrc=81939389352424828674807892239281888980888877968285852376888624293324332233222725253324927433312628322526333323838980

This is a gorgeous little tea pot in great shape.  I can't seem to find much information about this specific R&B maker's mark.

Re: Reed & Barton 10.5" Tea Pot

Yes this is an odd mark, I don't have one like it on file, it might be a piece made by Reed & Barton under contract for a retailer. It's a nice little 20th century pot based on designs for 18th Century English examples. I've similar eaxmples sell at auction for just under $100.00.
