Land deeds

Description

I have 2 land deeds from Huntsville,AL. The land was purchased by John O. Skelton in Dec. of 1859. I really dont have any more info. The deeds were gave to me by Jim Johnson from Anniston,AL. Both have the presidental seal & are hand signed.

Land grants and deeds of this vintage sell in the $50.00- $250.00 range depending on the fame of the signators. The more famous the signature the higher the value.

There is a document in the Raab Collection for sale at $5600 with Buchanan's siggy when he was Secretary of State.
