Jefferson Woodworking Company antique library table of solid oak with beveled corners and decorative detail on open base. The 12" table leaf unfolds from inside the table on a working roller bearing mechanism. Restored by an antique craftsman, in excellent condition. A beautiful piece!

Tables of this type generally date from the first quarter of the 20th Century, but remained in and out of production following the dictates of fashion for the next 50 years. The style is what's referred to as the 'Colonial Revival style'. The style getting its name because such pieces used stylist motifs found on American Colonial furniture originally made 1620-1780. The company that made this one operated until about 1966. Value about - $450.00
