Framed Ford collector plate

By ginnix, 2 January, 2009
Description

The plate has Ford circa 1896. It appears to have 22 K gold on it too, although it doesn't specify so. It has a quality control sticker on the back of the frame that says "Bard's" of Medelein, Il. I'm guessing that is where it was distributed from.

Re: Framed Ford collector plate

Collector's plates have a terrible record as investments, most seldom even regain their original purchase price thirty years after they were issued. Comparbles to your Ford plate sell for about $30.00.
