By jnobl_135, 15 January, 2009
Description

I recently purchased this sideboard at auction.  After many hours on the internet i am unable to identify the piece by make, year or value. I am including a picture of the stencil on the back and of the cross-head nails used on the inside construction.

Can anyone help with info?

 Thanks.

Re: sideboard

These pieces were generally made from the mid 20's forward and remain in production to this day. It's in the Colonial Revival style, which is a mix of styles made during the USA's Colonial period (1620-1780). This one's quite modern and appears to be in good condition, at acution comparable examples sell in the $350.00- $500.00 range.
