bronze tray

By kopycatkarma, 14 January, 2009
Description

this is a bronze tray, very heavy, it shows a young boy , possibly peasant boy waving his hat while swinging from a timber upright, in the bottom of the scene appears to be a strike of bowling pins you can see the wooden lane and the diamond of the pins mark and the pins flying , the bowling ball appears to smash the fence behind it, it is definitly a outdoor scene as there is a fence behind it and trees in the background, the strangest thing is the rat or mouse on the top of the frame as it seems to have no relevence to the scene at all, i would love to knwo what it is , how old and who made it, and what its worth
