Description
This chair has been in the family since my great-grand-father, possibly longer, 75 to 80 years. Has tags on botton of the seat ( both paper and metal) indicating it was made by the Murphy Chair Co., Owensboro, Ky. It both swivels and rocks and has metal rollers but I don't know if they are original to the chair.

Your chair dates from the first quarter of the 20th Century. They were usually partnered with Oak roll top desks. Values for them tend to be modest, $75.00 at auction.
