F A Whitney Carriage Company baby carriage

By swetpi, 30 March, 2009
Description

I can take a photo but do not have one now. This is a brown wicker baby carriage=there is a design in the wicker in the "bonnet" part of the carriage and also along the upper part of the carriage itself. The bottom is wooden with a little sliding compartment. The frame is metal, sets on two big springs-some rust-with big spoked rubber wheels. The handle is metal with a black metal handle in the center. It has a brake which still works. The inside of the bonnet and the inside of the body of the carriage is lined in light brown corduroy. As I have stated before, on the bottom of the carriage is a label that clearly states: F A Whitney Carriage Co, Leominster MA
