Reverse Glass Paintings

Description The paintings are reverse glass painted....thats means they have been painted on the back side of the glass.It seems that they used foil you can see it from the front. There is no signature but it tells you what the subject is Fort Ticonderoga and Ruins on the Rhine .

I also have this very same painting that I just inherited from my Grandparents. I've been told it was given to them by my great grandparents. I also would LOVE to know more about it!
