My uncle purchased this Sterling silver flatwear during his first year of teaching in the 1940's. It was purchased at The Jewlery Store in Galesburg, IL. It is still in that box. It is a service for four.

On the back of the flatware it says Spring Glory, R International Sterling, with some kind of mark between International and Sterling. The mark looks like it may have an S in it.
A lot of sterling is now being sold for scrap because of the high silver prices. Full sets of spring glory are selling at auction in the $500.00- $800.00 depending on the number of pieces. Figure about $12.00 a piece.
Re: Spring Glory flatware
Please give any and all markings on the flatware.
