Description
The design looks asian and it has a slightly faded inscription of a heart and either asian writing in the center of the heart or a design. The item was hand forged and I have the pair. one is smaller than the other.

Look like they are from India or Pakistan.... Middle Eastern Ewer's. Look recent to me. I would say all brass is considered hand made. Brass items are usually inexpensive to buy even if they are antiques.
