Japanese Room Divider Solid Wood

Description This is a beautifull Piece. I jsut dont know for sure if it is a reproduction or not. The story behind it is it came from japan in the 1960 era. We have had it for almost 2 years now and are wondering if anyone has any information on these room dividers. Thanks for any input you may have.

I just wanted to tell you I have two matching panels that are identical to your room divider. But they are much shorter. It has the same carvings and the japanese women are strikingly similar if not the same. mine came from my grandmother and she passed so i have no idea where they came from. but they are the same as yours, wood with paint and some sort of pearl inlay or some kind of shell? I only have two panels, but I believe mine belonged in a set of 4. i'm sorry i cant help you out with the history but they are neat to look at.
