Re: Compania Mata Moscatel of 1816
Dear jbredman, I would like to inquire about your bottle of Mata Malaga Wine. This is a wine made by my great great grand father. Unfortunatly the family winery was sold in 1964. Today I am in search of finding these bottles. so far I have found 3 of them. would you be so kind to help me in this search. I am currently importing wines from spain in the US and will be happy to share some of my greatest wines with you.
Best regards, and thank you in advance for your cosideration,
Patrick Mata.

I have one that is almost identical in the box. Did you get a quote yet?

Sorry to say, but your bottle is modern, nothing like Jefferson would have had in his cellar. This one likely dates from the 1960's. Genuine wine bottles of that period had very little in the way of labeling.
