Description Tufts silver plated pickle castor with hobnail vaseline glass insert. (Silver is not polished). I had never seen a pickle castor before I went into the antique store. It's a very interesting piece. Anyone know if I got a good deal?

You did well, the ones with unusual glass like hobnail vaseline glass usually go for $150.00 at auction. But you won't know if you got a deal until you polish it, if the plating is worn it's not a good deal ;~) Lovejoy
