Description
This watch is in very good condition. It has four green stones/emeralds? on the face of the watch. The dial to wind up is also green/emerald. One of the stones looks to be cracked/chipped but not very noticable. On the inside of the back it is stamped with:Bulova Quality. Pat. June 10, 1924. It also has a series of numbers on the inside of the back that read: 0049863. The gears and such has several different words and stamps on them. Most I can't make out but one looks to say: Fifteen jewels. and one says Bulova Watch Co. I gave it a couple of winds and it actually works and keeps time.

Re: 1924 Bulova Watch
I AM RESEARCHING AN ANTIQUE WATCH THAT I OWN.THE CLASP HAS THE EXACT PATENT INFORMATION THAT YOU MENTION. AT THE END OF THE BAND THERE ARE 2 (O) RINGS THAT ALSO HAVE A PATENT NUMBER. I FOUND THIS INFORMATION ON GOOGLE PATENTS. AN INVENTOR BY THE NAME OF JOSEPH M. BENDER WAS GRANTED 2 PATENTS TOGETHER. THEY ARE FILED UNDER THE O RINGS PATENT OF 2.266.951.
WRIST - WATCH BAND AND O RINGS. UNDER THE DESCRIPTION IF YOU READ #25, YOU WILL SEE THE PATENT 2.097.055. THE PATENTS WERE FILED DECEMBER 23,1941
I HOPE THIS WILL HELP YOU IN DATING YOUR WATCH.
