Dragonware (?) Coffe Set with Mark

Description I think that this is a coffee set because it includes a sugar bowl and milk pitcher. This is a service for 4 including: Coffee pot, sugar bowl, pitcher, 4 cups, 4 plates (for cookies), 3 saucers (one must have broken), and a small serving platter. All the lids are present and the only problem I can see is a small chip in one of the cookie dishes.

History I inherited this in 1993 from a great-great aunt. We think that these pieces belonged to her older sister and were probably not purchased any later than the 1940's

Looks like dragonware to me, but I don't see a backstamp/backmark. http://www.kovels.com/priceguide/kovels_dragonware/
