The fact that it is in plastic makes that likelyhood higher. Postage would exceed cost of item. Very nice piece to weap a fish or line a litter box. A simple google search would be helpful for items such as these.

Hey dee 1961 no need to be a jerk. Theres no way to tell if it is fake or authentic from the picture given. If authentic, it can go for up to $1,000.00. I suggest doing more research or getting it appraised.

I have the whole newspaper from 1912 and it is i believe authentic by checking some things out about the print and feel and it is only Morning Edition Twenty pages. My Son got the checklist online that led me to believe it is a original. If interested in buying please contact me.
