Rare Straight sided Coca Cola bottle in British Columbia, Canada

Description

Got lost in the woods off a remote trail. Saw the bottle with just mouth sticking out of the dead leaves. See picture for more details of the bottle.

I'm not much of a bottle guy, but your bottle looks like one of those "Bomb" bottles that were made briefly in the 60's.The glass was quite thin and they would explode like a bomb if shaken and then dropped or thrown. From what I remember they were withdrawn from production because of this and environmental concerns. BTW. a trick with Coca Cola bottles, the word "Coke" wasn't used by the company until about 1941.

Thank you very much for the info. I knew nothing of the coke bottles. This probably is a Canadian product because it had both English and French on it. The reason I thought it was from the 1900-1915 is because I read on some sites saying that the Coca Cola stopped making straight sided bottles after 1916. I guess that's not true then.
