Jefferson Woodworking Company Oak Table

Description Solid oak table with 2 harp chairs. Chairs have "1412" written on the bottom. The table has "Jefferson Equalizer Roller Bearing Slide Table" and "Jefferson Woodworking Company, Louisville, Kentucky" stamped on it. You pull on the ring at the end of the table under the table top to slide the table open and unfold leaf. I bought it because I like oak furniture and it was in great condition. Only drawback is it only has 2 chairs.

This is a Colonial Revival style suite. Jefferson primarily made parts for furniture such as table extension sliders, they went out of business during the 1990's. This suite looks a lot like examples that were made from the late 1920's to mid 30's. Value wise, $500.00 at auction these days. Lovejoy
