Description
I have 7 collector plates from the Edwin M Knowles China Company all are marked "Norman Rockwell". I have researched a little on them and their price ranges seem to range a large amount. They are all in their original boxes and have their COA with them.
Here are the plates I have:
"Scotty Plays Santa 1980" plate #20750F
"The Tycoon" plate #524
"The Music Maker" plate #AGI6862
"The Ship Builder" plate #22665Y
(2) "Grandpa's Treasure Chest" plate #5880I and #10121I
"The Gourmet" plate #10333U
Also what exactly do the letters in the plate numbers mean?
Re: Edwin M Knowles China Co
I hate to say this but collectors plates with very rare exceptions are terrible for investment purposes, few if any have even maintain their original retail value even thirty years later. The Rockwell plates routinely sell for less than $12.00 at auction and in many cases retail for less than $25.00.
