Description See images. This piece has markings and original sticker. Most are clearly legible. Base color is Gold/Warm yellow glaze with Gold leaf painted over base color. No scrathces, chips or damage I can see. I think it is a candy dish, but could be a very large ashtray.

My mother collects this type of Stangl. From what I know, the company was originally Fulper Pottery Co. and in 1928 Martin Stangl bought the company. Martin Stangl died in 1972 and eventually all assets were sold to the Pfaltzgraff Pottery Co. Stangl was officially closed in 1978. We have several of the pieces and have not paid more than $20 for the bigger pieces. If you look on Ebay you might see a similar piece like yours, but they are not selling for much. I will buy it from you, but could not give you more than $10 for it.
