REED AND BARTON 3 PIECES TOP HAS A OVAL RING THAT CAN BE REMOVED TAKE THE TOP LID OFF AND INSIDE IS A TWO COMPARTMENT TRAY WHICH FITS INTO THE BOTTOM. IT IS MARKED REED AND BARTON 1302 1/2 AND UNDER THAT IS THE NUMBER 12.IT HAS A TWO LEAF BEAD PATTERN AROUND THE OUTER TOP OF THE BASEAND AROUND THE TOP LID AND ALSO ON THE HANDLE.

There is very little demand for silverplate in the current market, as the market has been flooded with estate pieces from the World War Two generation. At auction comparable pieces often sell for under $30.00.
