Antique Dining Table with four chairs and Sideboard

By kttaylor, 14 December, 2009
Description

This was restored in the early 1980's by hand back to its original look. It had been painted black and sold to someone in the mid-west U.S. A previous owner thought they might have purchased it from a container that was shipped to the U.S. in the 60's from Europe.

Re: Antique Dining Table with four chairs and Sideboard

Based on the images it looks more American than European, it's very similar to American Colonial Revival Suites made from the turn of the 19th Century through the early 1930's. A good set that has been professionally redone can retail for about $3500.00.
