Re: Bronze Thailand Flatware Set?

No huge value I'm afraid, large numbers of these services have been brought back By American Armed Forces personnel since World War Two and and again during Vietnam. These sets generally look far older than they really are, these services sell routinely for under $100.00 at auction. Lovejoy

Re: Bronze Thailand Flatware Set?

I appear to have the same set but the raised embossed crest is slightly different. We are tyring to find somehow to get it appraised. Do you have any suggestions? The set I have came in a wooden box with pink lining and is a servie for 12 as well as the serviing spoon, fork, carving knife, etc...This set looks gold but I am pretty sure it is bronze and maybe just gold plated. It is in excellent condition.

Re: Bronze Thailand Flatware Set?

As has been mentioned back in the archives these sets are actually a sort of bronze looking alloy. values for them are modest, large numbers of these services have been brought back By American Armed Forces personnel since World War Two and and again during Vietnam.  These services sell routinely for under $100.00 at auction.
