Letter from the United States Senate 1960

By dargis1979, 3 December, 2009
Description

This is an authentic letter from the United States Senate signed by John F. Kennedy. The signature (signed in ink) is in the central lower right side of the letter. Kennedy's name (typed) also appears right below the ink signature and in the top left corner of the letter and his initials (typed) near the lower left side of the letter. United States Senate appears in bold letters in the top center of the letter and Washington, D.C. is typed directly underneath. You will see the stamped date of February 11, 1960 right under Washington, D.C.. It was typed out to my grandfather Karney A. Brasfield in regards to his reactions about the general farm speech. My grandfather had it framed and it is in excellent condition. I would like to know more on this piece and its value if possible. Thank you.

Re: Letter from the United States Senate 1960

Hi,
I cannot read what the letter says, but on Ebay signed letters from JFK from around that time period it looks like go for 2,000 and up. Some go for almost 30,000. The value depends on a number of factors:
1. Condition
2. What the letter is in regards to
3. ETC

I would say you should get a few professionals to say how much it's worth. I don't know how often they sell or how much most people get for such.

Keep in a safe place to prevent tanning.
