This is an Art Deco set, they were popular from the late 20's through to World War Two. Jefferson made parts for other furniture companies as well as their own line of furniture, there are a number of threads on the company listed in the archives, EG. http://www.instappraisal.com/search/node/jefferson%20lovejoy
Values for these sets are still quite modest, which is why this set was at the Goodwill store.
