By jerrykritzman, 14 March, 2010
Description

This is a cerca 1930 Vintage Koken Barber Chair in excellent condition. It was completely restored and still has the orignal delivery tag and serial number attached the the bottom of the seat. We got this chair in 1976 and a few months later we were contacted by Godfathers Restaraunt in New York wanting to buy the chair as it is supposed to have a unique history in as much as a former NY Crime Boss was shot to death in the chair by Lucky Luciano in the barber shop in the basement of the New York Sheraton Hotel at 55th and 7th Ave. in New York. Thie was a scene depicted in the calssic movie The Godfather!
