Thank you for your information. I have been looking everywhere for some information on this. My mother found it in a junk pile and the serial number on it starts with the letter G and then 7 numbers after that so it should put it around 1916. There are so many! Thank you again!

Old Singers are a wonderful hobby, and have huge numbers of enthusiastic collectors and users, but as antiques they fail to appreciate much in value. This is mainly because of the huge numbers of them produced, at one point just about every home in North America that could afford one had one. At auction the old treadle machines often sell for under $150.00
