Horse Head Stirrup cup

By crwcraig123, 20 March, 2010
Description

I purchased this Stirrup Cup at our local goodwill not knowing exactly what it was. My research has gotten me as far as I now know it is a Stirrup Cup. I'm interested in knowing it's potential value and if it is collectible?

Re: Horse Head Stirrup cup

Hi. I found a Horse Gucci Italy Silver STIRRUP CUP Hunting Goblet on Worthpoint that looks just like this one. It said the condition was Good, the measurements were 6" and 3-1/8" in diameter. Labeled Gucci and Italy on the sides. Some minor dings and a bend to the silver plate and minor wear to the head due to age. Could use a good polishing. It sold for $110.50. There was also a set of 8, all horse Stirrup Cups which sold for $455.00. I think you have a really sweet find!
