Says 17 Jewels - IN COGNAC; this is a gold pocket watch with a picture of a railroad car on the back and a small one on the face of the watch.

I just bought the same watch as in the photo except mine says Lark above the little train on the front.Mine is missing the chain loop it wore the ears off the watch at the winder.other than that it works great.I dont have any idea what it is worth.do you have any idea?

I actually don't think the watch is very old. My husband has one that was his father's but it has a leather strap on it instead of the chain. I believe these were sold here in Ohio at a store called Service Merchandise back in the each 80s. Service Merchandise has been out of business for quite a while.
