2 Antique Kenmore Ceramic Heaters;
1 - Kenmore Model # 114 8080 20, propane, ceramic and steel space heater, 20,000 BTU. None of the 5 ceramic tiles are chipped. In working condition but won't meet current codes.
1 - Kenmore Model # 114 8080 24, propane, ceramic and steel space heater, 24,000 BTU. 2 of the 6 ceramic tiles are broken. Not in working condition.
She wants to sell both but doesn't know what they're worth or where around San Antonio she might look to sell them.
History
Used by my 80 yr. old aunt to heat her home on her family farm in south Texas from the 1950's thru the 1980's

These are a hard sell as they don't meet most current regulations for gas equipment. They first appeared about WW1 and were mass produced for the American market until about WW2. Values are modest for them, at auction often under $50.00

hello, i just saw this post and if you still have these they actually work with 3 types of fuel and tell you which fittings work on them . i just bought one of these on ebay for 68.00 to put in my fireplace in place of gas logs., but when he shipped it he didn't bubble wrap the ceramic bricks and they came in crushed rubble. so now he has to find some. the bricks are great for people looking to restore something . I may need them if he can't replace them . So sad something this delicate wasn't wrapped better. Brass fitting works for natural gas.
