Re: Antique Gas Space Heaters

These are a hard sell as they don't meet most current regulations for gas equipment. They first appeared about WW1 and were mass produced for the American market until about WW2. Values are modest for them, at auction often under $50.00

Re: Antique Gas Space Heaters

hello, i just saw this post and if you still have these they actually work with 3 types of fuel and tell you which fittings work on them .  i just bought one of these on ebay for 68.00 to put in my fireplace in place of gas logs.,  but when he shipped it he didn't bubble wrap the ceramic bricks and they came in crushed rubble. so now he has to find some. the bricks are great for people looking to restore something .  I may need them if he can't replace them .  So sad something this delicate wasn't wrapped better.  Brass fitting works for natural gas.
