Antique Longines pocket watch

Description

This watch is in very good condition except for the rear cover which has 3 chips out of the glass . The crystal is in good shape as is the movement, runs fine. The numbers on inside of back cover have J WYSS FILS CNXDE FDS wiht NO. 502 in center. In side back of watch has the numbers 16831 on the advance/retard arm and on the edge of the main portion under back cover has 0370 on the edge. Thanks for any help you can give

I believe these are gold filled , the one you have is probably turn of the century 1890-1910. if the movement is running and keeping time it should be worth around 150-200.
The ones you want are the old bunn specials from around the same period, they have a large collectors base and run into the thousands.
Still a pretty watch not a bad find. Wind it up and put it on display, check its accuracy with a digital clock.
