Description I have two pieces of silver stamped "Victor Silver Co. Quadruple plate" and then the numbers "62" stamped below. I believe they are a cream and sugar set. The first piece is a covered dish, possilby and sugar dish? It is badly tarnished, scratched and has a hole worn through the bottom. Look like some sort of acidic damage. The second piece is possibly the creamer. It is a small jar or urn with a lid. This piece is badly tarnished as well. Both pieces have the same stamp. I have no clue what these are and would like some more info.

Victor Silver Company was an extension of the Derby Silver Company. Research this company online by entering the names into a search engine such as google.com. The Victor Silver Company line was a less expensive line containing items that were made of pewter or silver plated. Most likely, the items you have are not pure silver but sliver plated instead. I hope this helps.

Thus, as a rule of thumb, items with the “Derby Silver Company” logo most likely date from the nineteenth century... http://derbyhistorical.org/derby_silver_company.htm
