Mount Airy Chair Company Mahogany Table and Buffet

Description

The double-pedestal table measures 66" long x 42" wide (102" long with all three leaves) fitting 10 chairs comfortably. Each of the four corners are inlaid with lighter wood. There is a custom table cover (1/2" thick, felt bottom) for when the table is together without the leaves as well as 3 felted sections that correspond with the leaves.

The Buffet is a bowed piece with four floral inlays. It is 64" long x 23" wide in the middle at the peak of the arch. It has 3 drawers across the top and another drawer below the center one with two cabinets below.

Six chairs (5 side chairs, 1 arm chair). They have embroidered seat cushions and 4 side chairs are damaged.

I have some of this same set the china cabinet that goes with, the same Buffett.  I found the table and 10 side chairs  plus 2arm that go with .   Wonder what value is of all. And indiv

This is a very nice set in the Federal Revival Style, it was designed after furnture originally made from 1780 to  about 1812. If the finish is good we'd retail a set like this for about $4500.00. It would go for about a third of that at auction.
