I also have an H.Myers maritime painting, it was handed down to me and on the back is a small sticker with the title. It reads "Choppy Waters - H.Myers" It appears to be a bit smaller than yours, but certainly by the same artist. Does anyone have any more info on this artist?

It could be Frank Harmon Myers (American 1899-1956). He did do a lot of seascapes similar to yours,here's a link:
