Description

I will be posting a photograph of this oil painting very shortly; It is a signed oil painting G.WhiTman in the right hand corner. Is a scene in winter, oranges, with snow on the trees,& on the banks of the stream.I would describe the scene as being after the sun has gone down;It is a lovely painting
The back of the painting has a number:776303 Artistic Interiors Inc. on a very faded sticker in back of the canvas.I would like to know the value of this painting as it is quite lovely. Thank You, Dee60

Re: Oil Painting

Hello,I have not been here in some time;I had received 1 response about this painting;someone had told me the painting was a factory made oil painting,& was basically worthless; However,I have checked around,& have found this painting is indeed an original...the sticker on back was from the original appraisal that someone had done many years ago;the painting was given to a thrift store, where I bought it.On the canvas, whoever had framed the painting, was brilliant enough to not remove the instructions for stretching the canvas-the signature of that person was Bev Moore, who happened to be G. WhiTman's wife. The painting is in very good condition, which the photograph cannot capture it's real beauty.I would be interested in selling this painting,to the right collector.Thank You Kindly.
