Last Supper Wooden Plaque

By rocket5995, 29 April, 2010
Description

This is a wooden hand carved plaque of the "Last Super" by Leonardo Da Vinci.
It has a label on the back explaining what it is.
There are no signatures of any kind of the artist that carved this.
I can't tell the age just that it is in excellent conditon except for the bottom part of the label on the back is slightly torn.

Re: Last Supper Wooden Plaque

Hello there! I have this same picture! Looks identical, but the people in it look like they are carved in ivory to me. Plus there are little initials in the bottom right corner that say "ST" and a copyright signal in the very bottom left.  Do you have that also? I am curious if this is worth any money. This belonged to my grandmother who is now 102 years old. Please contact me at [email protected] would love to talk to you/. Thanks!

Re: Last Supper Wooden Plaque

These are not ivory, they are of two types, ivory resin or plaster that's bee designed to look like ivory. The Plaster varieties are English, the maker's name at the tip of my tonque. If I recall the name I'll post it to this thread later. Most of them don't sell for much, here's one at auction
