Squash Blossom Necklace

By Valkyree, 13 May, 2010
Description

My husband bought this for me for our 25th anniversary last week.. great gift for a silver anniversary! The piece was purchased on ebay from Arizona with little information about it...The only thing they said was that it tested sterling silver. The piece is very substantial, each blossom section is 2" x 1-1/8" and there are 12 of them, each with a large piece of turquoise and a smaller piece of coral? The naja has 5 pieces each of turquoise and coral. Very intricate silver tooling...looks to have been strung on tigertail. The round beads do not have seams, but appear to be sterling silver.

I would love to know where it may have come from.. if it is indeed Navajo... maybe an artists name?? or at least an approximate year it was created.

Thanks so much for any information you can give me...
