Hey...those links were good...Randy Boles has some good stuff about old stoves but link is now broken "due to unpaid balance". The other 2 links are for you to do your own research...and pay for it, if needed. Also, of course, check your local auction house & antique stores for advice....you may need to consign it.

While these Charter Oaks can sell for a considerable amount of money when fully restored, examples with cracked or damage to the cast iron parts are difficult to sell. Cast iron can be welded, but it's not an easy task and something best left up to the experts. Stoves in the rought like this often sell for under $500.00.
