Description Old round painting on black velvet, looks like oils, original frame and mounting and back covering. About 2' in diameter. No distinguishing marks on front or back covering. I've just loved it my whole life and it's been left to me now. I am just guessing the date, I have no idea about this.

I have this same painting ..... I was just talking about it to an antique store owner yesterday and wow I thought I would look for it again and I saw yours. I do have some info on the back <noYer> Cincanatti Ohio there is a number but it is faded out.

Did you get an apprasial amount on yours? Ours came from my moms great aunt and has been in the family for about the same time period.
