Maple Jefferson Woodworking round slide table

By cat47997, 22 June, 2010
Description

WILL SELL IF THE PRICE IS RIGHT!! (OVER 200.00)
Bought this table for my mom, for $8.00 and wasn't going to refinish it. Was going to paint it. Glad I did refinish it because the wood is BEAUTIFUL! (Obviously it isn't finished in these pics, but I did finish the underside of the overhang.) It was quite beat up, one leg chewed on. The legs have been supported with extra screws, and the leaf is missing, but thats ok since I am not selling it.
I am wondering what year this is from, and how much it would actually be worth, and the original price they were when manufactured.

Re: Maple Jefferson Woodworking round slide table

This is a Colonial Revival style Table. Jefferson primarily made parts for furniture such as table extention sliders, they went out of business during the 1990's. This table looks a lot like examples that were made right up until the 1980's. Value wise, $100.00-$200.00 at auction these days.
