History
My grandfather used to work with Hughes aviation H.Q. where a man named Jim Dell worked for him after being a photographer for Hughes for 25-30 years during the construction of the H-4 Hercules aka "Spruce Goose". Upon retirement in roughly 1988 Jim Dell gave my grandfather a collection of over 100 original prints he had from the 40's detailing the creation of the Spruce Goose (interior, exterior, and aerial photos). The collection also includes original prints of Howard Hughes himself.

Re: Original Howard Hughes/Spruce Goose prints taken by ...

I couldn't guess a value but I do know the Smithsonian Air and Space museum is always looking for original prints. They are wonderful pictures and more of a national treasure than anything else.

The aerial view is one I have never seen before and who knows what kind of maybe new info they could get from something like that

Thanks for sharing them!
