unknown painting

By baker1205, 26 August, 2010
Description

This is a painting that I found in my grandmother's attic after she passed. She had always told me when I was growing up it was made from crushed butterfly wings. I have tried many times to reasearch it, but havent been able to find anything. I can't quite make out the artist's name, but it is signed. When the light hits it, there is definately a shimmer to the paint. The painting is in perfect condition as I have not had the frame off it in the 10 years I have owned it and I dont believe my grandmother had it reframed either, because the frame is in bad shape.
