this has no chips, It could have been possibly repaired at the top.. you will see.

This one appears to have an export wax seal near the mark, but I can't see it clearly in the image. These "Jian Ding" marks were used from 1949 to mark " Cultural" pieces exported from China, but they do not guaruntee the age or authenticity of the piece. here's a link for you:
