Painting of woman with basket

Description

I dont believe this is original. I can see brush strokes and texture, and I can even see where someone painted parts of it, but I also wonder it this is a reproduction and they have done little work to it to make it look more authentic. Is this a technique? I have another one of thie cupid - same deal.

Paintings are really are not suitable items for appraisals without actually pysically examining them. For the last 30 years there have been methods used that can duplicate original paintings right down to the textured brush strokes. Even pieces that are on canvas is no guaruntee they are actually paintings.
